Welcome to Women of Stoke - the ultimate safe space for empowering women and feeling empowered! Our community is all about building lasting connections, providing meaningful support, and helping each other reach our full potential. So come on in and join us - let's create truly amazing together!
Our Story
Women of Stoke was created by founder and director, Laura Carter, as a simple online space for women to connect and form friendships. What we thought would be a collective of a few hundred women from Stoke-on-Trent has grown to include over nineteen thousand members across our two platforms and has breached the borders of Stoke-on-Trent to include some of the very near surrounding areas.

Everyday we foster connections between women and facilitate conversations that enable women to access and offer support, promote local women led businesses, offer advice, and to build meaningful friendships.
​
We have recently transformed from a voluntary group to a registered Community Interest Company and look forward to an exciting future of building on the work that we, as women of Stoke, have started to facilitate within the area. We are community led, we are led by the voices of the women that have helped to shape us and can't wait to hear what those women have to say!
